MICHAEL LOGUE
Hometown:
Vicksburg.
My
family arrived at Walnut Hills about 1812. My
great grandfather, an abolitionist inventor, bought
land on the battlefield in the area of the Stockade
Redan and Great Redoubt in the late 1800's. My
family sold sold land to the Government for the Park
but continued grazing and dairy operations until the
mid 1960's.
